Georgia-based healthcare provider Northside Hospital and Nashville-headquartered Urgent Care Group have inaugurated a new Health Choice Urgent Care facility in Lawrenceville, Georgia.

This centre offers same-day medical care for immediate needs such as X-ray imaging, Covid-19 testing, occupational health services, and care for various illnesses and injuries.

Northside Hospital Gwinnett/Duluth president and CEO Debbie Bilbro said: “This partnership strengthens urgent care resources for the Gwinnett communities, which continues to experience remarkable growth.”

Including this new facility, the alliance runs a total of nine Health Choice Urgent Care centres across Greater Atlanta, of which six are in Gwinnett County.

Located near the Northside Hospital Gwinnett Emergency Room, the Lawrenceville centre will operate seven days a week, from 8am to 8pm.

With its five acute-care hospitals in Georgia and over 275 outpatient facilities throughout the state, Northside Hospital provides medical services for newborn deliveries, cancer care, sports medicine, cardiovascular treatments, and surgical procedures.

Urgent Care Group operates a network of more than 55 centres under six brands, including Health Choice Urgent Care in collaboration with Northside Hospital.
