Nutex Health, an integrated healthcare delivery system, has opened Milwaukee ER & Hospital, marking the company's third facility launch in 2024.
The new hospital, situated in 1751 W Layton Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53221, is set to provide round-the-clock, concierge-level care to the community.
Milwaukee ER & Hospital chief medical officer Michaela Wood said: “Our expert team of emergency physicians looks forward to showing each patient individualised, excellent care.”
The 20,000ft2 Milwaukee ER & Hospital is equipped with eight emergency room beds, six inpatient beds, a procedure room, and a full suite of services including an in-house pharmacy, laboratory, and advanced imaging capabilities.
Patients at Milwaukee ER & Hospital will benefit from the convenience of emergency care with minimal wait times and one-on-one interactions with board-certified physicians.
Nutex Health CEO and chairman Tom Vo said: “We are excited to provide concierge level medical care to the south Milwaukee market, which historically has been underserved.”
Healthcare management and operations company Nutex Health has a hospital division and a population health management division.
The company's network includes 23 micro hospitals and hospital outpatient departments across ten states, as well as primary care-centric, risk-bearing physician networks.
Nutex Health's population health management sector manages and runs provider networks, including independent physician associations.
Via their management services organisation, they deliver management, administrative, and additional support services to associated hospitals and physician groups.
Earlier in 2024, Nutex Health inaugurated Post Falls ER & Hospital in Idaho and Green Bay ER & Hospital in Wisconsin, both equipped with emergency, inpatient, and ancillary services.
