Option Care Health, a provider of home and alternate site infusion services, has signed a multi-year commercial partnership with Palantir Technologies to adopt its Artificial Intelligence Platform (AIP) for a comprehensive digital transformation.

The collaboration aims to enhance patient outcomes and increase efficiency.

Palantir's AIP is planned to be integrated into various aspects of Option Care Health's operations, including nurse scheduling, patient onboarding, purchasing, and supply chain management.

Option Care Health anticipates Palantir's AIP to help optimise patient visits per day and increase the time they spend with healthcare professionals.

By reducing administrative tasks and improving the management of medical supplies and medications, the platform is expected to help prevent excess stock, Option Care Health said.
