US-based independent primary care medical group Palm Medical Centers has launched its 35th primary care clinic in Sanford, Florida, as part of its strategy to provide primary care services for senior and Medicare Advantage patients.
According to a press statement, Sanford has a significant Medicare patient population, making it an ideal location for Palm's expansion.
The De Novo clinic offers same-day appointments, in-house labs, transportation assistance, and 24/7 access to a care team.
Palm Medical Centers chief medical officer Dr CJ Patel said: “With this De Novo clinic opening in Sanford, we are reaffirming Palm’s commitment to serving the Medicare patient community in Greater Orlando.
“Dr Llavona-Suarez and her team will be laser-focused on delivering personalised care to each patient, and we look forward to deepening our roots in the area.”
Palm Medical Centers plans to continue expanding throughout Greater Orlando and Florida this year and next year, with additional clinic announcements forthcoming.
Being part of the MBF Healthcare Partners II (MBF), Palm Medical Centers focuses on “value-based, capitated” primary care services and serves more than 50,000 combined Medicare Advantage and managed Medicaid patients.
They collaborate with managed care organisations to deliver comprehensive medical care, including primary care and specialist services.
