Partners Cooperative, an organisation including 37 members and more than 130 acute care hospitals and clinics in the US, has collaborated with clinical decision support software company Etiometry.

This alliance will streamline the integration of artificial intelligence (AI)-driven clinical intelligence for healthcare teams operating in high-acuity care settings within member healthcare facilities.

The aim is to enhance patient outcomes within intensive care units while reducing costs in the most resource-intensive sectors by leveraging Etiometry's advanced clinical decision support platform.

Etiometry's platform provides critical care teams with comprehensive insights into patient physiology, enabling them to deliver standardised and personalised care.

It also facilitates the use of all available patient data to predict and control the dynamic conditions of individuals receiving intensive care.

Partners Cooperative purchased services senior contract analyst Kerri Franklin said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Etiometry as one of our preferred vendors.

“It’s a clinically proven solution well-worth exploring for many of our members seeking to achieve quality improvements while improving their bottom line, with significant cost savings brought about by workflow efficiencies.”

Under the partnership, members of Partners Cooperative will gain access to Etiometry's services through a streamlined contract process.

The platform is said to be ready for use in an eight-week timeframe.

Etiometry CEO Shane Cooke said: “We are excited to engage with Partners Cooperative members and help them discover the substantial and quantifiable ways our customers have improved quality across all critical care units in the hospital.

“Etiometry provides the ability to drive best perioperative and hemodynamic management practices, like goal directed therapy, extubation readiness testing, acute kidney injury detection and management, as well as vasoactive medication weaning.

“We are all about helping hospitals, even those with tight budgets, meet their unique needs in a very tangible, results-driven way.”
