Pearl Health has partnered with Vim, a middleware platform for clinical workflow integration, to improve electronic health record (EHR) systems for value-based care.
This collaboration aims to augment Pearl Health's capabilities in providing comprehensive, proactive patient care through advanced data insights and financial tools.
By utilising Vim's middleware platform, Vim Connect, Pearl Health is set to enhance the HER experience for its provider partners across the nation.
The initial phase of this partnership allows Pearl Health to integrate its 'Conditions to Review' insights directly into the EHR workflows of practices without disrupting their current processes.
This technology is designed to assist healthcare providers in focusing on chronic conditions that have been previously diagnosed.
The data provided through this collaboration will bolster Pearl's efforts to improve the performance of its partner providers in value-based care, enabling a more proactive approach to patient management.
The integration will also streamline point-of-care workflows, allowing healthcare professionals to concentrate more on patient care.
Pearl Health chief product officer Jennifer Rabiner said: “While much of Pearl’s workflow lives outside traditional patient visits, when a provider needs the insights we have in our platform, we want to make sure they have them at their fingertips.
“Vim's point-of-care technology solution makes this possible, bringing critical information from Pearl directly into the visit workflow.”
Pearl Health is looking to further expand its EHR integration capabilities with Vim in the future.
The company is keen to introduce additional insights from its data science and analytics team to providers via the Vim Connect platform.
One of the initial enhancements will involve identifying quality gaps for patients enrolled in Medicare Advantage programmes, with the objective of aiding providers in excelling within these schemes.
Last year, Walgreens Boots Alliance’s division Walgreens and Pearl Health teamed up to accelerate value-based care expansion, in association with community-based primary care physicians.
