Healthcare real estate developer PMB has partnered with Abrazo Health to initiate construction of the Litchfield Medical Building in Goodyear, Arizona, US.
This facility will be the first in the area to combine medical offices with inpatient rehabilitation programmes, addressing the growing healthcare needs of the community.
Located at the Palm Valley shopping centre, the Litchfield Medical Building will provide easy access to patients due to its proximity to the I-10 freeway.
It aims to enhance healthcare delivery by offering a range of services, including inpatient rehabilitation, internal medicine, cardiology, and hospitalist services.
The facility will have 24 inpatient rehabilitation beds, catering to patients recovering from strokes, spinal cord, brain and orthopaedic injuries, trauma, neurological conditions and more.
PMB EVP and partner Jake Dinnen said: “This is our second project with Abrazo within the last five years. This project embodies a forward-thinking vision for the healthcare needs of the area.”
Expected to be completed by next year, the project currently has 27,000ft² leased to Abrazo Health and 5,000ft² to Medcure, with an additional 14,000ft² on the first floor available for lease.
Key partners in the development include architect Devenney Group, Haydon serving as the general contractor, and PMB Real Estate Services as the property manager.
For this project, Siemens is serving as the financing partner.
This announcement follows a similar initiative by PMB and Riverside University Health System, which broke ground on The Wellness Village in Mead Valley, in June., With completion anticipated in 2026, the project will integrate behavioural health treatment with medical care and social services.
