Prima Medicine opens new urgent care centre in Fairfax, Virginia

Virginia-based medical clinic Prima Medicine has inaugurated a new urgent care centre, Prima Immediate Care, in Fairfax, Virginia, US.

The facility will offer injury and illness treatment, physical exams, vaccinations, X-ray imaging, and diagnostic testing services.

It will introduce a digital check-in process for walk-ins.

Prima Medicine founder and owner Dr Chethana Rao said: "Innovative and immediate healthcare is not just our mission, it's our passion.

"With the launch of Prima Immediate Care, we are thrilled to bring this commitment to life, reshaping the urgent care landscape in Northern Virginia.

"And we have plans to open other locations in South Riding and Merrifield as well. As we continue to grow, we will always put our patients first, ensuring they receive the quality, compassionate, and convenient care they deserve."

The centre aims to incorporate digital healthcare upgrades by enabling patients to schedule appointments through mobile software.

Dr Rao added: "We are committed to serving our patients with top-tier medical care that's both affordable and readily available.

"This new centre strengthens our goals and unwavering dedication to streamline the healthcare experience for our patients."

With more than 12 years of experience and as a member of the Privia Medical Group, Prima Medicine has been delivering healthcare and urgent care solutions in Northern Virginia.

Its presence spans Fairfax, South Riding, Merrifield, and Fair Oaks.
