The collaboration encompasses technological upgrades, maintenance, consulting, and educational services.

Under this agreement, Siemens will supply and upgrade diagnostic imaging systems, such as computed tomography, magnetic resonance, and X-ray systems.

They will also modernise the existing imaging software and servers, introducing an advanced digital fleet management system.

In addition, this collaboration also includes an eight-year maintenance contract, provided by Siemens Healthineers, to ensure ongoing operational efficiency.

The partnership also involves using consulting services from Siemens to optimise PRIME Healthcare UAE's clinical radiology operations, enhancing equipment usage and workflow management.

Siemens will also implement an education plan to train PRIME Healthcare UAE's radiographers and biomedical engineers.

Siemens Healthineers Middle East managing director Ole Maloy said: “This partnership is a trendsetting example of a joint vision manifested in a close long-term collaboration.

“We have worked hard together to create a roadmap addressing current and future challenges and prepare the healthcare facility to further elevate healthcare and patient experience while streamlining workflows and enhancing clinical outcomes.

“We would like to thank PRIME Healthcare UAE as one of the leading healthcare providers in the region for their trust in our solutions and services, and we look forward to further raising the bar of healthcare services in the UAE together.”
