US-based health system Prime Healthcare has unveiled plans to deploy Steer Health’s Concierge platform at its 45 hospitals across the country.

In addition to optimising care, the health system intends to digitise and streamline communication between hospital staff and patients using the new artificial intelligence (AI) based platform.

This AI-powered tool tracks and analyses requests, as well as feedback from patients, to address individual patient requirements.

The data collected will be sent directly to the dedicated hospital staff and allows them to offer more personalised patient care.

Using the Concierge platform, nurses can prioritise urgent patient requests and reduce the staff workload.

The data will also help patient experience officers and shift managers to identify the care gaps and optimise patient outcomes, significantly improving the staff and patient experience.

Prime Healthcare initially installed Steer Health’s tool at two of its hospitals, with plans to implement the technology in all of its hospitals.

With a focus on creating easy access to patient-centric care, the alliance between Prime Healthcare and Steer Health is designed for addressing new and evolving consumer healthcare needs.
