UAE-based integrated healthcare platform PureHealth has partnered with Israeli medical research institution Sheba Medical Center in an effort to improve trade ties between the UAE and Israel.
The collaboration aims to drive healthcare through joint clinical research projects, the use of advanced technology, genetic research initiatives, staff training and health tourism promotion.
It will focus on enhancing clinical research, exchanging studies and conducting healthcare innovation research projects and clinical trials, as well as organising educational conferences, workshops and events.
Sheba Medical Center international division and resource development director Yoel Har-Even said: “This newly formed cooperation between Pure Health and Sheba Medical Center-Tel Hashomer is another prime example of the strengthening ties between Israel’s healthcare system and the UAE, which underscores the essence of the Abraham Accords.
“This agreement is of the utmost importance in creating a strategy whereby we will work to share our knowledge in the areas of research, clinical trials, and medical training.”
By combining their capabilities, PureHealth and Sheba Medical Center aim to benefit patients, healthcare providers and the overall healthcare industry by fostering advancements in the field.
The two parties signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in the presence of Mohamed Al Khaja, the UAE Ambassador to Israel.
Al Khaja said: “It is great to see major players from the UAE and Israel healthcare sectors come together to find ways to combine their expertise and work together to improve the health and the lives of the people of both our countries.”
