Qoros Health begins operating in Florida in partnership with CFCG

US-based healthcare administration company Qoros Health has expanded into Florida in partnership with Central Florida Cardiology Group (CFCG), a company that offers heart-related care services across the state.

The partnership is Qoros' eighth collaboration with a cardiology practice and its first in Florida.

It will allow CFCG to leverage Qoros Health's healthcare operations expertise to improve diagnostics, outcomes and cost efficiency.

Supported by Chicago Pacific Founders (CPF), Qoros Health works to enhance patient care by providing technology, payer relationships and specialised services while preserving physician autonomy.

Based in Texas, the company aims to provide a physician-led platform that provides enduring support and economic alignment for its partners.

The partnership also grants access to Qoros Health's knowledge in developing and managing cardiovascular-focused Ambulatory Surgery Centers to enhance the patient experience and cost-effectiveness.

In addition, it allows CFCG's partners to retain equity ownership, ensuring the practice remains physician-led.

Founded in 1948, Central Florida Cardiology Group provides cardiology care services across three locations in Florida.

The company's staff is comprised of five physicians and five nurse practitioners.

Medical robotics set to witness robust growth in the next decade

Per GlobalData forecasts, the surgical robotics market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 8% by 2030. Surgical robots improve patient outcomes, reduce human error, and decrease the length of hospital stays. New surgical robot models will offer new surgical possibilities, such as micro-robots to address difficult-to-treat diseases.
