Rightway, a healthcare provider, has entered a strategic partnership with Curai Health aiming to leverage AI to minimise healthcare costs and increase patient outcomes.
This collaboration integrates Curai's AI-driven virtual clinic into Rightway's app, providing members with round-the-clock access to virtual urgent care.
Members using the Rightway app can connect with Curai Health's medical professionals for immediate diagnosis, treatment, and necessary follow-ups.
Medical professionals at Curai Health include medical doctors (MDs), doctors of osteopathic medicine (DOs), or advanced registered nurse practitioners (ARNPs).
Rightway's nurses provide essential support after visits, coordinating additional healthcare services such as prescriptions, lab work, and referrals.
The company stated that its 'user-friendly' platform serves as a single access point that consolidates various benefits.
Its care navigation system is claimed to be designed to optimise care utilisation by delivering measurable returns on investment.
By coordinating with healthcare providers and guiding members to quality, cost-effective options, Rightway aims to simplify the healthcare journey.
Rightway navigation strategy and delivery executive vice-president Paula Bush said: "Our partnership with Curai Health provides our members with expanded access to best-in-class healthcare that suits their needs.
"Curai’s chat-first model allows for flexibility in care delivery, without sacrificing quality. Merging forces with Curai represents a major step in revolutionising care delivery and navigation."
Curai Health integrates machine learning into clinical workflows and partners with health plans and systems to keep patients 'engaged' in their healthcare.
Since its inception in 2017, Curai Health has been providing on-demand, primary, and urgent care.
The company claimed that its use of AI augments the proficiency of its patient care squads, which are directed by qualified and certified medical professionals.
Curai Health CEO and co-founder Neal Khosla said: “Our healthcare system has a major problem in getting the right care to people seamlessly.
“We’re excited to be working with Rightway to help reinvent access to high-quality, personalised care.”
