Trauma and acute care surgical teams provider SAMGI has formed a partnership with Comprise, an integrated communications agency to improve surgical care.

This collaboration aims to enhance SAMGI's mission of delivering surgical care and addressing gaps in hospital coverage through website development expert, digital marketing, and public relations.

Additionally, it will combine the emergency surgical care expertise of SAMGI with Comprise's communication skills to reshape the way patients and healthcare professionals perceive and interact with SAMGI.

The alliance is set to elevate SAMGI's reputation in surgicalist programmes, known for improving return on investment, reducing patient stay lengths, and enhancing case complexity management.

SAMGI chief sales officer Chris Brown said: "With Comprise collaborating with our team, we’re confident we can solidify our position as the nation’s leading surgical services provider.

"The agency’s integrated approach will help us share our story with the right audiences, reach new heights in the healthcare sector and fulfil our mission."

Comprise creative and digital services executive director Jennifer Stevens said: "Health care organisations need powerful messaging and a strong online presence to showcase their expertise and the brand elements that set them apart from competitors.

"Elevating the innovative surgical leader’s brand awareness and highlighting its unique approach to emergency surgical care, our strategic approach positions SAMGI to stand out and connect with hospitals seeking improved surgical efficiency, enhanced patient flow, increased revenue and greater market share."

SAMGI's role in assisting hospitals with critical, unplanned surgeries is crucial. In addition to trauma and acute care, the organisation provides a wide array of surgical services, including orthopaedic, neurosurgery, urology and vascular.

Its programmes not only improve patient outcomes but also allow local surgeons to concentrate on elective procedures.
