US-based rural healthcare system Sanford Health is partnering with Infor to implement the latter’s suite of cloud-based applications to streamline and upgrade operations.
This collaboration aims to modernise and streamline functions across Sanford's network, which serves over 1.4 million patients and nearly 200,000 health plan members across 250,000 square miles.
Sanford Health operates 211 clinic locations, 48 medical centres, and more than 160 Good Samaritan Society senior living centres.
The health system currently conducts 540 active studies, employs 2,900 physicians and advanced practice providers, and maintains nine world clinic locations globally.
Through the latest partnership with Infor, the health system aims to leverage data to break down departmental silos further and obtain real-time insights, ultimately allowing caregivers to focus more on patient care.
The decision to partner with Infor was influenced by the company's modern, cloud-based architecture and its suite of healthcare-specific finance and supply chain solutions that align with Sanford's needs without the necessity for extensive manual customisation.
Infor highlighted that its solutions are designed to integrate seamlessly into Sanford's current business processes, equipping leadership with real-time data to make informed decisions.
The system has a user-friendly interface and healthcare-specific analytics, capable of unifying processes across the employee lifecycle while integrating with core enterprise financial management and payroll solutions.
Infor senior vice-president Steve Fanning said: “We look forward to supporting Sanford Health in achieving greater operational efficiency and delivering exceptional health care services to the communities they serve.”
