Shadowbox, a healthcare automation solutions provider, has introduced its automation platform customised for imaging centres.
This platform is designed to streamline order entry and results processes in outpatient clinics, leading to cost reduction and improved accuracy.
It connects healthcare providers to a library of electronic health records from ordering clinicians, ensuring accurate and cost-effective transfer of patient data, eliminating manual paper processes and EHR integration projects.
Key features of the platform include seamless integration with Radiology Information Systems (RIS), as well as improved billing and claims processing.
In addition, it supports compliance with healthcare regulations including HIPAA and SOC 2.
Commenting on the development, Shadowbox founder and CEO Gregory A. Stein said: “Shadowbox understands the challenges that imaging centres face in an industry where too many orders are still made on paper.
“Our solution is purpose-built to enable fast, accurate, compliant and cost-effective orders and results across referring clinicians and their preferred imaging centres.”
Shadowbox leverages AI and user-driven cross-application connections to offer instant integration and automation within the healthcare sector.
Last month, rater8 founder and CEO CEO Evan Steele joined Shadowbox’s board of directors.
Steele earlier had a nine-year stint as a medical practice administrator and is said to have led the growth of various start-ups.
He also founded the electronic health records (EHR) company SRS Health, which focuses on speciality physician practices.
