Bon Secours Mercy Health, AlignedCardio, and Compass Surgical Partners are set to open Short Pump Cardiovascular Ambulatory Surgery Center in Henrico, Virginia in late 2025.
To be located at 12320 West Broad Street, next to the Bon Secours Short Pump Emergency Center, the new facility will provide a variety of outpatient cardiovascular services to the Greater Richmond area.
Spanning 8,000ft2, the ambulatory surgery centre (ASC) will offer a range of procedures.
They include diagnostic heart catheterisation, peripheral interventions, coronary interventions, and the implantation of pacemakers and AICD devices.
The partners intend to seek the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) accreditation for the facility.
Short Pump Cardiovascular Ambulatory Surgery Center is the latest addition to a growing portfolio of ASCs that Bon Secours Mercy Health and Compass Surgical Partners are developing through a strategic partnership.

Part of Bon Secours Mercy Health, Bon Secours is the fifth-largest Catholic health system in the US.

In April this year, Bon Secours Mercy Health, Compass Surgical Partners, and local physicians announced plans to open a new ASC in South Carolina, US.
