US-based hospital network SRHO – The National Association has turned to Boston, Massachusetts-based healthcare technology company Etiometry to improve care in critical care units.

This partnership aims to enhance patient outcomes and save costs in these critical care units.

Under the alliance, SRHO will deploy Etiometry's AI-powered software to help doctors and nurses make informed decisions.

Etiometry's software collects and displays patient data from various sources in one place, making it easier for healthcare teams to see trends and suggest care.

It can also warn if a patient might get worse, enabling doctors to act quickly.

Besides, the software streamlines hospital workflows and helps standardise care practices, making it easier for newer healthcare professionals to manage complex patients.

In addition, hospitals can measure their quality initiatives and improve their processes using Etiometry's tools.

SRHO CEO Mark Tribbett said: “Hospitals should consider taking advantage of SRHO’s first clinical partnership targeting the ICU if they’re seeking a turnkey solution to achieve that elusive balance between standardised and individualised care.

“The published data on Etiometry are compelling – both clinically and operationally.

“At the end of the day, the platform’s capabilities meet the real needs of our representative hospitals, including the ability to decrease length of stay and readmissions, as well as minimise time on vasoactive medications and mechanical ventilation.”

Etiometry is known for its clinical decision-support software used in intensive care settings.

It has approvals from regulatory agencies such as the FDA, Health Canada, and CE markings.

The company uses data to improve patient outcomes, increase efficiency, and reduce healthcare costs.

SRHO operates over 375 hospitals and healthcare systems.
