Healthcare AI company Suki has partnered with MEDENT and Azalea Health to expand its electronic health record (EHR) programme.
The deal will integrate the company's AI engine, Suki Platform, into both companies' EHR solutions to enhance user experience and patient care.
These partnerships will complement Suki's existing collaborations with athenahealth and MEDITECH.
The integration with Azalea Health aims to provide AI solutions for healthcare providers in rural areas.
Azalea's cloud-based EHR will benefit from the AI's ambient listening capabilities, which are designed to improve the user experience by reducing manual clinician tasks and allowing for more patient-doctor interaction.
Currently serving more than 11,000 providers with its multi-speciality EHR, MEDENT also expects to enhance its user experience through the Suki Platform.
The AI's capabilities, including ambient documentation and coding, will be embedded into MEDENT's system to reduce administrative burdens for clinicians.
Suki founder and CEO Punit Soni said: “As the AI leader in healthcare and the only company to offer an AI engine to power technology solutions, Suki aims to make AI accessible and beneficial to all.
“We are committed to supporting clinicians across their entire workflow and have done so by creating assistive AI that is responsible, interoperable and customisable.
“Our partnerships with major EHR players like MEDITECH, athenahealth, MEDENT, and Azalea, are a testament to how our cutting-edge technology seamlessly integrates into diverse healthcare settings, enhancing existing capabilities, empowering providers, and improving patient care nationwide.”
The expansion follows Suki's recent collaboration with Zoom, which selected the Suki Platform to power ambient clinical documentation for telehealth and in-person visits.
The company's flagship product, Suki Assistant, uses generative AI to create clinical documentation by listening to patient-clinician interactions.
In September, Suki announced that it had deployed its AI Assistant across more than 12 health systems using MEDITECH Expanse.
