AI-powered data security company Tausight has formed an alliance with US-based company CrowdStrike to enhance cybersecurity in the healthcare sector.
This collaboration aims to provide real-time risk intelligence and help in controlling the electronic protected health information (ePHI).
It involves the integration of Tausight’s PHI Security Intelligence platform with CrowdStrike’s next-generation SIEM and log management solution, Falcon LogScale.
This will provide improved visibility and defence capabilities to healthcare organisations, allowing them to effectively identify and address a range of HIPAA non-compliance risks associated with the storage and security of data.
Besides, the healthcare security and compliance teams can leverage AI-driven CrowdStrike’s Falcon XDR platform to incorporate Tausight's healthcare data insights into the Falcon LogScale system.
This enables the use of custom dashboards and rapid queries to identify and assess risks related to sensitive healthcare data across various environments.
Through this enhanced visibility, healthcare organisations can more effectively reduce their exposure to potential ransomware and data extortion incidents and rapidly neutralise threats, stated Tausight.
Moreover, the partnership enables healthcare organisations to manage third-party risks and gain comprehensive insight into the movement of sensitive data.
By centralising and storing Tausight supply chain insights within Falcon LogScale, organisations can monitor data movement both internally and externally.
The Tausight for CrowdStrike Falcon LogScale solution is currently available on the CrowdStrike Marketplace.
Tausight founder and chief technology officer David Ting said: “We are proud to partner with CrowdStrike to deliver an effective cybersecurity integration that enables our customers to detect, investigate and hunt for sophisticated adversaries to protect patient health information.
“Together, we’re unifying PHI intelligence with the leading cybersecurity platform to combat advanced threats targeting healthcare.”
Established in 2018 in Boston, Massachusetts, Tausight is dedicated to reducing cybersecurity incidents in healthcare. It is supported by healthcare investors Polaris Partners, Flare Capital Partners, and .406 Ventures.
Meanwhile, CrowdStrike offers an advanced cloud-native platform to safeguard critical areas of risk, such as endpoints and cloud workloads, identity, and data.
The latest collaboration aims to provide real-time risk intelligence and help in controlling ePHI.
