TigerConnect has announced the launch of its new pre-hospital and transfer solutions aimed at enhancing emergency care coordination.

These offerings are designed to streamline emergency department (ED), emergency medical services (EMS), and transfer workflows, thereby improving patient throughput and outcomes.

The TigerConnect Pre-Hospital solution is now generally available while the Transfer solution is in early access.

These solutions are part of TigerConnect's vision to unify healthcare communication by connecting EMS and hospital care teams, facilitating better preparation for patient arrivals and digitising transfer coordination for improved capacity management.

TigerConnect chief product officer Saurin Shah said: “Building on our recent acquisition of Twiage, the addition of TigerConnect Pre-Hospital and Transfer to our suite of solutions is further advancing our mission of unifying healthcare communication by connecting care delivery partners such as EMS, ED teams, and transfer centres, to improve patient care.

“Our solutions streamline communication by routing case and patient information to the right specialists and care teams prior to the patient’s arrival, reducing time-to-treatment.”

TigerConnect customers will also benefit from early access to new collaboration and communication features, which are scheduled for release later this year.

The Availability Status feature enhances clinicians' control over notifications by improving the do not disturb (DND) setting with saved auto-replies, scheduled expiration times and indicators of clear availability.

In addition, the Scheduling AI Agent, available in early access for users of TigerConnect's Physician Scheduling and Clinical Collaboration apps, simplifies the process of retrieving on-call schedule data and swapping shifts with an AI agent within the Clinical Collaboration app.

Another early access feature, the TigerConnect EMS Protocol Assistant, helps EMS providers identify treatment dosages for administering and correct protocols that need to be followed quickly, saving time and improving patient outcomes.

TigerConnect intends to implement further product and technology enhancements throughout its platform in the upcoming months to continue its mission of delivering integrated healthcare communications.

The platform encompasses solutions for communication in pre-hospital and clinical settings, alarm management, scheduling, nurse call, and patient engagement.
