US-based medical billing solutions provider UnisLink has acquired regional peers AQREVA and Doctors' Resource Specialists (DRS).

The consideration for the deals was not divulged.

AQREVA and DRS have a presence in Arizona, North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, and Oklahoma.

The merged entity will adopt the UnisLink brand, with AQREVA and DRS leadership being retained.

UnisLink serves independent physician groups, ACOs, and value-based care groups in the US, helping them to handle revenue cycles and population health across various payment models.

According to the firm, its revenue intelligence tools will elevate service quality and reporting for AQREVA and DRS clients.

UnisLink executive chairman David Strand said: “This strategic acquisition reinforces UnisLink's commitment to improving the financial health of physician groups through advanced technologies and unmatched service levels.

“Together, we will offer a growing range of services and solutions to our clients, enabling them to focus on patient care, not financial and administrative burdens.”

AQREVA and DRS, both established over 25 years ago, are said to enhance UnisLink's capacity to provide revenue cycle and population health management services.

The acquisitions, which are in line with UnisLink's plan to expand its services and geographic reach, will be an addition to the firm’s seven regional Centres of Excellence.

They will complement its existing operations in Phoenix, Cleveland, New Brighton, Chicago, Latham, and Valparaiso in the US, as well as Hyderabad in India.
