US-based health tech firm WellSky has collaborated with Element5, a workflow automation solutions provider for post-acute care, to expand the availability of workflow automation solutions within its home health and hospice client base.
This alliance aims to enable healthcare agencies to automate complex administrative tasks across the patient journey, thereby freeing up clinicians' time, especially in times of staffing constraints.
According to the vendor, Element5 is an automation solution tailored for post-acute care.
It offers a fully managed software as a service (SaaS) delivery model for its productised workflows, reducing IT burdens and maintenance responsibilities for clients.
Element5 co-founder and CEO Joe Randesi said: “Element5’s mission is to elevate staff to work at the top of their license by removing the high volume, administrative work from their desks so they can focus more on their mission, delivering the best care possible.
“Our partnership with WellSky will better enable their clients to adopt automation technologies across the patient journey, from eligibility to authorisations to revenue cycle management.”
WellSky chief analytics officer and general manager Wes Little said: “We’re thrilled to partner with an innovative organisation like Element5 to help our clients improve efficiency and eliminate operational bottlenecks.
“Element5’s workflow automation technology will allow providers to spend less time on administrative work and more time providing patient care.”
WellSky provides software, analytics, and services to enhance care coordination and lower costs across the healthcare continuum.
