XRP Healthcare and The Burnratty Investment Group have formed a strategic alliance to create a $100m fund that will help improve healthcare in Africa.

The partners plan to buy profitable healthcare businesses, such as pharmacies and hospitals, in Uganda.

To help them with this plan, they have partnered with FasterCapital, an investor incubator led by CEO Hesham Zreik.

FasterCapital will assist in finding investors and growing their healthcare business in Africa.

The goal is to initially raise $3m and then create a Super Fund of $100m.

This Super Fund will be used to buy 2,000 private healthcare businesses across Africa.

The project will be led under the direction of a team with experience in mergers and acquisitions, healthcare, and business development.

In Uganda, there are approximately 4,000 private healthcare facilities.

XRP Healthcare and The Burnratty Investment Group plan to upgrade these facilities and provide better healthcare services.

They plan to acquire 20 to 30 healthcare facilities every month and bring in new technology and equipment, including NASA-designed ventilators.

XRP stated that Uganda faces challenges in healthcare, especially in emergencies such as Covid-19.

The country has very few intensive care units (ICUs) and ventilators.

XRP Healthcare and The Burnratty Investment Group want to address this situation and give people in Africa access to better healthcare.

XRP Healthcare is a healthcare platform built on the XRP Ledger. The Burnratty Investment Group is an investment firm focusing on healthcare in Africa.

FasterCapital helps startups connect with investors and has experience in raising funds for many startups.
