Yale New Haven Health (YNHHS) has marked its expansion into Hartford County with the opening of a new clinic in Glastonbury, Connecticut, US.
YNHHS celebrated the expansion at the Yale New Haven Health Urgent Care.
The clinic provides easier access to primary and speciality care to the residents of Glastonbury and the surrounding areas.
YNHHS CEO Christopher O’Connor said: “Yale New Haven Health’s presence in Hartford County marks an exciting milestone for our health system as we continue to grow our services across the state.

Yale New Haven Health Urgent Care, formerly known as PhysicianOne Urgent Care, comprises over 20 centres across Connecticut and New York.
This includes several locations within Hartford County such as Bristol, Enfield, Manchester, and West Hartford.
The rebranding of these centres is aimed at enhancing the accessibility of coordinated healthcare for the community.
The centres are equipped to handle a variety of medical needs, including treatment for sprains, wounds, strains and burns. They also treat paediatric issues such as strep throat, eye infections, ear infections and flu.
Additionally, they provide X-ray services for diagnosing fractures, dislocated joints, and pneumonia, among other urgent health conditions.
