Yashoda Super Speciality Hospital, Kaushambi in India has launched an initiative to improve patient care through the use of artificial intelligence (AI).

The SmartCare Monitoring Programme aims to use Dozee's artificial intelligence (AI) based contactless remote patient monitoring (RPM) and early warning system (EWS) to identify and address clinical deterioration early.

Yashoda Hospital said the SmartCare Monitoring Programme represented a shift towards continuous, data-driven, and proactive healthcare.

Dozee's system allows healthcare professionals to monitor vital parameters such as heart rate, blood pressure, respiration rate, temperature, oxygen saturation levels and electrocardiogram signals remotely.

Dozee chief technology officer and co-founder Gaurav Parchani said: “Our AI-powered EWS will play a crucial role in early clinical deterioration detection, facilitating timely care and preventing emergencies.

“With continuous monitoring and early warnings, the hospital isn't just embracing technology—it's prioritising patient safety.”

Dozee's EWS uses AI to monitor trends in vital parameters and provides alerts for early detection of potential clinical deterioration, allowing for timely intervention.

The technology is made in India and includes an AI-based Ballistocardiograph (BCG) for contactless monitoring of vitals.

Yashoda Super Speciality Hospitals is a 300-bed facility located in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, that aims to enhance healthcare delivery through advanced technology.

The hospital is accredited by India's National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH) and National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL).

It offers a wide array of super speciality services, including endocrinology, cardiology, robotic surgery, orthopaedics and gastroenterology.

Yashoda Super Speciality Hospitals chairman Dr PN Arora said: “At Yashoda Hospital, our mission has always been to provide world-class patient care with a patient-centric approach.

“The introduction of the SmartCare Monitoring Programme in collaboration with Dozee represents a significant leap forward in achieving this mission.

“By embracing cutting-edge technology, we are not only enhancing patient safety but also setting new benchmarks for patient care delivery.”
