The company offers a full Critical Care product range for adults, paediatrics and neonates in need of ventilator support in Intensive Care and High Dependency units.
The Trachseal closed suction system enables a clinician to clear the lungs of secretions, while maintaining ventilation and minimising contamination with the least possible disruption to the patient.
An ultra-clear soft sleeve gives the clinician optimum visibility of blockage assessments and a greater feel when inserting the catheter.
Single-handed operation is made easier by a control valve that allows a steady application of suction force, and a positive locking mechanism to prevent accidental suction being applied.
Trachseal closed suction systems are available for 24-hour or 72-hour use depending on patient requirements.
Two length options allow for attachment to either endotracheal or tracheostomy tubes. The endotracheal products feature a catheter length of 54cm and the tracheostomy tube variants have a catheter length of 30.5cm.
Oral care
Intersurgical also offers a complete programme for oral hygiene through their oral care toothbrushes and kits, which help target ventilator associated pneumonia (VAP).
OroCare day kits facilitate the introduction of an oral care hygiene routine over a 24-hour period.
Available for four (q4) or eight-hour (q8) intervention options, they offer a simple-to-use disposable solution straight from the pack.
