19 May 2004 – NEW MBA AUTUMN COURSE STARTS IN OCTOBER 2004 INTERNATIONAL HOSPITAL MANAGEMENT

The next course of the part-time MBA Programme – International Hospital Management Option, offered by HfB – Business School of Finance and Management, Frankfurt/M. (www.hfb.de) in co-operation with Nations HealthCareer School of Management gGmbH, both Germany (www.Nations-HealthCareer.com) will start on 22 October 2004, the deadline for applications is 30 August 2004.

Nations HealthCareer School together with HfB offers an intensive 18-months MBA programme for healthcare professionals in full-time employment to combine study and work. The programme is taught entirely in English and is designed to transform young people with management potentials into effective professional managers in the international healthcare industry. It aims primarily to enhance the student’s ability to identify business opportunities, make firm, clear cut decisions, plan and control business functions, as well as motivate and develop people and organisations. The programme pays particular attention to its participants’ personal development, professional skills and entrepreneurial spirit. Internationally accredited by FIBAA, the programme starts twice a year (Spring and Autumn) and is structured into eight attendance modules in Europe, Asia and the Middle East supplemented by e-learning sessions. The attendance modules of each nine days, take place at international study locations such as the United Arab Emirates, Japan, Singapore, USA, Germany, Great Britain, Austria and the Netherlands in order to offer the cross-cultural study group insights into a variety of health systems and management practices and encourage a truly international exchange of experience.

The programme aims to attract economists, doctors, administrators and e.g. lawyers seeking to acquire the management qualifications needed for a management career in private health facilities or linked industrial and governmental sectors worldwide.

We recommend interested candidates to register for the required GMAT test as soon as possible to be able to apply within the application deadline of 30 August 2004, as some GMAT test centers do not offer permanent tests or may be extremely busy .
